Welcome to the Apooiti Marina

Since 1995, the Apooiti marina has been growing to provide an ideal shelter for sailors, well protected from prevailing winds, close to the road and city center amenities, quiet and carefully kept and designed to match its remarquable surroundings.

Located only one kilometer from Raiatea airport, Apooiti marina is easily accessible by plane and the capital of polynesia, Papeete. By boat, the marina can be reached from several passes : from the west side by Miri-Miri pass (3 miles), from the East side by the Teavapiti pass (5 miles) and from the north by the Paipai pass in Taha'a (6 miles). Sailing school for kids and adults

Raiatea Yacht Club sailing school introduces the practice of sailing to primary school classes of Raiatea, Taha'a and Huahiné island, to the parasailing groups of the center Huma Here Raromataï. It also propose to the public collective courses during weekends and school holidays (Optimist, Hobie Cat, monohull school boat).
